SDMC becomes the first in the world to convert 2 lakh lights to LED
NEW DELHI .Union Minister of Power and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal on Mondaydedicated world’s largest street lights replacement completed programme to the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).
Around 2 lakh conventional street lights have been replaced by the energy efficient LED street lights in the South Delhi Municipal Corporation under the Street Lighting National Programme being implemented by the Energy Efficiency Services Limited under the Ministry of Power.Millennium post
