 In recognition of its leading initiatives in the Renewable Energy  sector, CMD ,

 

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) Shri K.S.  Popli was

 

felicitated for remarkable contribution in Power Sector by Shri Piyush  Goyal,

 

 

Minister of State for Coal, Power and New and Renewable Energy at a  glittering

 

function “Celebrating Excellence in Power Sector” in New Delhi on 23rd  February

 

2016 at the 3rd Annual Economic Times Power Focus Summit 2016.

 

The Summit was attended by more than 100+ senior visionaries, policy makers and 

 

industry leaders to discuss solutions that will help Power Sector chart future  course of actions to meet the burgeoning power demand.Given the fact that the Government is now seeking to generate 175 GW Renewable  Energy by 2022, top States were also felicitated during the function for their  contribution in the power sector.
