WCL plans Coal museum and Super speciality hosp,
Chandrapur: Shri Rajiv R Mishra, CMD WCL, took centre stage during `Make in Chandrpaur` industrial conference when he made a slew of announcements and promised to keep supply necessary coal to the industrialists in Vidarbha from WCL mines.
He announced that WCL is going to build a super speciality hospital in Tadali here in Chandrapur. "WCL doesn`t have any central hospital of its own. Hence we are going build a state-of-the-art super speciality hospital in Chandrpaur. This hospital will have a special wing where non-WCL people can avail the health services and those from below poverty line and poor background would be treated free of cost," Mishra said.
He claimed that WCL has regained its lost momentum and seen speedy development during the last six months. "WCL is opening a mine per month. Five new mines have been opened during last five months under new government`s regime. One more mine is going to be commissioned on June 25. We plan starting 27 mines under WCL and 16 of them are going to come up in Chandrapur," he said. Times of India
