AAI declares Rs 560 crore interim dividend for 2016 17
NEW DELHI . Airports Authority of India [AAI], a consistently profit making organization since its inception, declared an Interim Dividend of Rs.560 Crores for the year 2016-17.
Dr.Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI presented Dividend cheque amounting to Rs.560.00 to the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Shri Jayant Sinha in the presence of the Secretary, MoCA, Board Members of AAI and Senior officers from the Ministry.
AAI has earned a Revenue of Rs.10,824 Crores [previous year – Rs.9285 Crores], Profit Before Tax of Rs.3697 Crores [previous year Rs.2791 Crores] and the Profit After Tax of Rs.2537 Crores [previous year Rs.1959 Crores] for the year 2015-16.
AAI has spent an amount Rs.4315 Crores during the last three years [2013-14 to 2015-16] on modernization of Airport terminals, passenger facilities .
