CWC Signed an MoU with MSTC Limited
New Delhi: Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), has signed an Agreement with M/s. MSTC Limited on 10th Sep 2018 for availing the forward-auction services, which shall not only bring transparency and efficiency but will also save manpower cost in processing the tender. The unique features of MSTC’s e-auction system will avoid repeated tender, lower the tender processing cost and increase process efficiency.
The agreement was signed by Shri S. Charles, Director (Finance), CWC, at Corporate Office, New Delhi on behalf of CWC and Mrs. Bhanu Kumar, Director (Commercial), MSTC, in presence of Shri A K Shrivastava, MD, CWC and Mr. S.C. Mudgerikar, Director (M&CP). Shri S.K. Poddar & Shri P.K. Sinha from MSTC and Shri A M Rao, GM (System) & Shri R R Aggarwal, GM (Finance) from CWC were also present on the occasion.
As part of the agreement, M/s. MSTC Ltd. shall also undertake digital marketing, which has the potential of improving customer reach across the globe.
CWC allots various types of warehouses on the rental basis and enters into Strategic Alliance Management Operators for their CFS businesses, which are offered on the first-cum-first-serve basis, thereby having a limitation to reach optimum value.
With the usage of transparent and efficient e-auction services, the customer reach shall improve which will directly enhance the utilization of warehousing space and increase the profitability.
