Foreign Minister of Japan calls on PM
New Delhi: Mr. Taro Kono, Foreign Minister of Japan, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 7th January. Mr. Kono briefed the Prime Minister about the follow-up action taken in recent months after the visit of Prime Minister Modi to Japan in October 2018.
Prime Minister warmly recalled his successful visit to Japan in October 2018, and reiterated his strong commitment to further deepen the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between India and Japan.
The Prime Minister said that India looks forward to the next round of Annual Summit with Japan, later this year. PIB
