HAL Bestowed with Raksha Mantri’s Awards
Bengaluru. Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. has been conferred with ‘Raksha Mantri’s Awards for Excellence in Performance, Innovation and Indigenisation’. The awards were presented by the Defence Minister, Mr Manohar Parrikar, yesterday at a function in New Delhi.
The award was bestowed upon HAL in recognition to achieving significant improvements in organizational performance, excellence through R&D, improved production and financial performance, export promotions, technology upgradation, focus
on customer service, adoption of quality management systems and human resources management initiatives,.
HAL’s Avionics Division, Hyderabad received best performing Division of ‘Defence PSUs award for the year 2013-14’.
The award for excellence in the innovation category for the year 2012-13 was jointly presented to HAL’s Transport Aircraft Division(TAD), Kanpur and Avionics Division, Korwa.
