MOU
HEC and MECON enter in to a MoU for capabilities enhancement
Ranchi. HEC and MECON signed a MOU during the concludiung day of the Global Investment Summit yesterday .The MOU was signed in the presence of Shri Raghuvar Das Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand.The signatories of the MOU were Dr S Chaterjee, GM,R& D from MECON and Dr AK Dash,Chief of Business Development from HEC.Shri Avijit Ghosh,CMD,HEC and senior officials of HEC and MECON were present during the occasion.
The MOU with MECON will synergise the manufacturing capabilities of HEC and the design & execution expertise of MECON. This will enhance the capabilities of the Government sector for upcoming expansion projects in the Steel sector.It would also lead to the involvement of ancillary manufacturing facilities and groth of MSMEs.I
The MOU aims at development of products and subsitute import item in the in the steel sector particularly in the blast furnace and other key facilities in a steel plant.
