IOCL Signed MoU with ALIMCO to Support Divyangjans

Chennai: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Southern Region Pipelines Limited) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India have signed a MoU on 20th Aug 2018 at IOCL- SRPL - Office at Chennai for distributing Aids and Appliances worth Rs 30.00 lakhs at free of cost to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) of Ramanathpuram district of Tamilnadu State for FY 2018-19 under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
 
The MoU was signed by Shri P. Rama Kishore, Deputy General Manager (CSR), IOCL & Shri Anupam Prakash, Manager & Unit Head ALIMCO APC, Bangalore in the presence of  Shri S. Sundar, Chief General Manager (Operations) IOCL, Shri G. Venkatraman, General Manager (HR), Shri T.C.A. Satagopam, General Manager (Finance), Shri A. Bhattacharjee, Deputy General Manager (Constructions), Shri M.S. Srikant, Asst. Manager (CSR) and Smt. Puja Guleria, CSR Consultant and other officials. 
 
IOCL has sponsored aids & appliances for approximately 300-350 Nos of PwDs. This major CSR initiative of IOCL-SRPL will help the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to overcome the difficulties posed by their disability, thereby enabling them to lead a normal & productive life and making them fully independent. This effort will not only bring these underprivileged PwDs to the mainstream of life but will also contribute to the National economy.
