Inaugurating of KVS Regional Swimming Meet

Neyveli: Under the banner of KVS regional Sports Meet, Chennai Region of Kendriya Vidyalaya , entrusted NLCIL for conducting swimming competition for KV students .This  three days sports meet  was inaugurated and declared open by Chief Guest Shri R. Vikraman , Director (Human Resources) ,NLCIL at NLC Swimming Pool Complex, Neyveli, on 01.08.2017

 

Shri R. Vikraman in his inaugural address informed the importance of participation in games and sports .He stressed upon the importance of all-round development along with Academics will enriches one’s “Sound Mind and Sound Body’. He encouraged, inspired and blessed the students to play with real sportsman spirit.

 

Shri N.Muthu, ED/HR, NLCIL & Chairman, VMC KV, NLC extended his good wishes to all participants to come out with flying colours.Shri Mohan, CGM, CSR,Edu. &Sports&Culture, Shri M. Karthikeyan, CGM/TA, Shri I.Nedumaran,Secreatry, NLCIL Schools and Shri R. Srinivasan,Principal, KV, NLCIL graced the occasion.

 

During this three days meet i.e from 1.08.2017 to 03.08.2017, around 110 students from 20 Kendriya Vidyalayas   belonging to Chennai Region,TN  & Pondicherry Union Territory  Region  participating  under category of U-14,U-17 and U-19 Boys &Girls.
