IndianOil NR Office observes Safety Week
New Delhi: IndianOil’s Northern Region kicked off Safety week celebrations by observing National Fire Service Day to create awareness on fire prevention, fire protection and renew employees’ commitment towards safety. The week was kick started by administering of Safety pledge by all employees of IndianOil Northern Regional Office with determination to follow safety norms and keep 'safety' at top.
Various safety awareness events and competitions are being organised at Northern Regional Office during the safety week celebration.
A safety training program for contract workers of Northern Regional Office was also organized during the week, wherein, inputs were provided to all the workers on usage of various fire and safety equipment, fire chemistry, fire organogram and emergency evacuation procedure etc.
During the week, an exhibition of Fire and safety equipment was also set up to refresh the operating knowledge of various fire and safety equipment. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Harsh Sachdev, Executive Director (Regional Services), IndianOil, Northern Region. On this occasion, a booklet on 'Safety Briefing' for all employees and visitors of IndianOil Northern Regional Office was also released by Shri Sachdev.
Addressing on the occasion, Shri Harsh Sachdev Executive Director (Regional Services), Northern Region shared his views about importance of safety and his willingness of extending full support for all kind of safety measures for office buildings as well as locations under Northern Region.
