IndianOil s Refineries Headquarters generate mass awareness on Swachhta
NEW DELHI: Taking the Swachh Bharat Pakhwada to a next level, Refineries Headquarters (RHQ) of Indian Oil Corporation Limited organised a Walkathon to generate mass awareness on cleanliness. Led by senior executives, including Mr. V. Mohan, ED (Shipping), Mr. Kaushik Bora, ED (PJ-PS), Mr. SN Pandey, ED (Optimisation), Mr. Debasish Roy, ED (Finance), and Mr. RC Upadhyay, CGM (A&W), over 100 employees, with their family members, especially young kids, participated in the walkathon with zeal, carrying placards with messages on cleanliness from Site I to Site II of IndianOil Township at Sector-55, Noida.
A Nukkad Natak by underprivileged children of migrant labourers of Noida was also presented to the masses on the occasion, which was highly appreciated by one and all.
Many other interesting competitions and activities on the theme of Swachhta for IndianOil employees' family members were also organised. In a drawing competition for kids, young participants presented some brilliant designs and ideas on maintaining cleanliness. The other activity that gained wide appreciation was 'Design a dress with newspaper', in which participants came up with some out-of-the-box ideas and fabricated some astonishing pieces of wardrobe art, using old newspapers.
