IndianOil sponsors Spirit of Freedom Bike Rally

New Delhi, Shri  P K Goyal, Director Finance, Indian Oil Corporation Limited flagged off the IndianOil sponsored “Spirit of Freedom” Motorbike Expedition of Pathfinders to Ladakhyesterday .Shri  T.S. Khwaja, General Manager  IndianOil was also present on the occasion.

 

 

 

The aim of this expedition is to spread awareness about environment degradation in the Himayalas among the school children in the remote villages of Ladakh as well as to reach out to the underprivileged in these inaccessible and hilly areas.

 

 

 

 

 

It was mentioned by Pathfinders that this year the expedition would visit Turtuk Village in Nurba Valley and Trishul village in Leh along with other locations. A troop of seven bikes with eleven members would roughly cover 3600 Kms in a span of 15 days.
