MCL awarded with HR Best Prectices Award
SAMBALPUR. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, wins ‘HR Best Practices Award 2014’ constituted by National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM).
‘’Mahanadi Coalfields Limited has been adjudged as the 1st position Category ‘A’ (for organisations having more than 2,500 employees) of HR Best Practices Award 2014,’’
MCL is the second largest coal mining company in the country and has spent more than Rs 111 crore under CSR to support socio-economic development programmes of the government to uplift the standard of life in rural areas.
This award is another shot in the arm of MCL and will be a great modivation factor for entire MCL family i and the HR professionals in particulars, said Mr Purna Chandra Panigrahi, Director (Personnel), MCL. Chairman-cum-Managing Director Mr A N Sahay congratulated Director (Personnel) and his entire team for their efforts in brining about postive change in the company by initiating best practices in human resource management.
