MCL plan for massive increase in Coal Production
KOLKATA. Chairman-cum-managing director of Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited (MCL) Anil Kumar Jha said his company had an ambitious plan of raising its coal production to 250 million tonnes by 2020 from the 140 million tonnes now. "With this objective,
we are going to open two or three new mines. We will also put information technology to good use to enhance our capacity," he said.
He was addressing at the inauguration of Infocom: Advantage Odisha 2016, a business and technology leadership conference that is an initiative of The Telegraph, here today. The TELEGRAPH
