NBCC Indian Navy sign MoU to build widows hostel
NEW DELHI . National buildings construction corporation Ltd, (NBCC) Indian Navy and NBCC Services Ltd (NSL) have inked an agreement to build a Sahara Widows Hostel at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi for Indian Navy under CSR initiative.
The MOU was signed by Sanjay Nirmal, Commodore Indian Navy, R Wanchoo, CGM (CSR), NBCC (India) Ltd. and A Sabeena, chief executive officer, NBCC Services Ltd. on behalf of their respective companies.
The hostel would be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 13.50 crores and will be shared by NBCC (India) Ltd. and Indian Navy equally. The project is a first of its kind in north India for the welfare of soldiers’ widows and is slated to be completed by December, 2017 Governancenow
