NCL TO START FREE RESIDENTIAL ATHLETICS ACADEMY
Singrauli: Aimed at promoting sports and grooming players, Northern Coalfields Limited is starting a free ‘Residential Athletics Academy’. As one of its kind initiative, the academy would provide a fillip to sports in Singrauli and adjoining areas.
Selection of players (boys) will be held on 29th and 30th July at Vijay Stadium, Jayant Area from 8:30 a.m. onwards. Based on the selection process, maximum of 30 trainee players will be selected which will be trained by experts in the free Residential Athletics Academy.
The selection process will be carried out under the supervision of High-Level Committee and based on its recommendations, trainee players for the academy will be selected.
Boys having minimum age of 12 years and maximum age of 14 years as on 1st August 2017 can apply for selection as trainee players. On the day of selection, all participants are required to bring duly filled registration form (available at NCL website nclcil.in-- goo.gl/5ME7YH) and documents/photographs mentioned therein.
In addition to providing free lodging to players, expenses incurred on their regular diet, academics, sports uniforms and first aid will also be borne by the company.
