NHPC pays dividend of Rs.1984.61 crore

NEW DELHI: Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC Limited handing over dividend payout bank advice for an amount of Rs. 76.43 crore to Shri R. K. Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New & Renewable Energy in the presence of Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary (Power), Govt. of India, Shri Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), Shri N. K. Jain, Director (Personnel) and Shri D. Chakraborty, General Manager (Finance). 

 

NHPC Limited has paid a final dividend of Rs. 76.43 crore to GOI for the financial year 2016-17 in addition to interim dividend of Rs. 1402.21 crore paid in the month of January, 2017. The aggregate dividend payout share of Government of India for the financial year 2016-17 comes to Rs. 1478.64 crore out of total dividend of 1984.61 crore.
