NLC Workshop on Best practices in Tendering Contract Management and Disputes Resolution concludes

Shri Mathivathanan, IAS, Commissioner Cum Secretary, Odisha and Dr. S.K Acharya, CMD, NLC IL after releasing the "Safety Manual for Thermal Power Stations" during the valedictory of National Seminar cum Workshop on “Best practices in Tendering, Contract Management and Disputes Resolution” organized by NLC IL & SCOPE. S.K Acharya CMD,NLCIL & Functional Directors of NLCIL at Neyveli, On December 17,2016. Also seen are, Shri G. Masilamani and Functional Directors of NLCIL. 
 
The Valedictory function of of the Seminar and Workshop held today (17.12.2016), Shri Mathivathanan, IAS, Commisioner Cum Secretary to Govt. of Odisha, Ministry of Housing & Urban Development Shri G. Masilamani ,Former Addl.Solicitor General of India were participated as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. 
 
Shri Mathivathanan , In his address said that organization should be reasonable in releasing their dues to the contractor and need to follow better technical and financial control which results in efficiency and transparency outcomes to reduce malpractices, disputes. 
 
Dr. S.K Acharya, CMD, NLC India Ltd, in his address thanked all the dignitaries, delegates, and participants from different parts of the country and industries for their presence behalf of NLCIL. 
 
To mark the occasion, E souvenir containing all seminar papers presented in the Seminar & workshop and a book on "Safety Manual for Thermal Power Stations" were released by CMD,NLC IL and Chief Guest respectively.
