NLCIL organizes Ethical Forum Classes for School and College Students of the Academic

Neyveli: NLCIL is organizing the ‘Ethical Forum’ Classes for the students studying in the academic year 2017-18 in Neyveli Schools and College. The inaugural function was held this morning (28.08.2017) at Neyveli Learning & Development Centre (L & DC).The Vigilance branch, L & DC and the Education Department of the company will coordinate the classes.
Dr.Kambhampati Subrahmanyam, Pro-Chancellor,S-Vyasa(Yoga Unit),Bengaluru delivered a special lecture on “Ethics” to around 600 students from the educational institution of Neyveli. Dr. Subramanyam in his address said, that there are two ways available for the students to choose from. One the OPTION and the Second OBLIGATION, First being a choice, Second is Duty. Obligation could vary from Legal, Conditional, Personal and Moral.
The Chief Vigilance Officer Shri T.Venkata Subramanian, IRSME, in his presidential address highlighted the importance of education in a student’s life and said Sowing the right seed at the right time can help students to grow well in their life. The Chief Vigilance Commission’s Integrity pledge was taken by the students to maintain Honesty and Integrity in their life.
Directors Shri V.Thangapandian, Shri P.Selvakumar and Shri R.Vikraman graced the occasion. Senior officials, representatives of the trade unions, associations, students, teachers participated. Shri R.A.Jayakumar,CM(L&DC)welcomed the gathering and Shri G.Muruga Venkataraman,CM(Vigilance) proposed vote of thanks.
