NLCIL with prestigious NIPM RATNA Award and presented National Award for Best HR Practices 2017

New Delhi: National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), a not-for-profit, organization and a professional body in the field of Human Resources and Industrial Relations has bestowed Dr. Sarat Kumat Acharya, CMD, NLCIL  with “NIPM Ratna Award” during the inauguration of 36th NIPM Annual  Conference at Chennai, for his outstanding contribution and excellence in the field of Human Resource Management and its development as well as in recognition of his  achievements as an outstanding HR Leader and visionary. 

In the same function NLC India limited has been honored with NIPM’s “National Award for Best HR Practices -2017” for building employee engagement and leadership talent capabilities and practices that deliver real change for organization.
Both the awards were presented by Shri K.Pandiarajan, Hon’ble Minister for Tamil Official Language, Tamil Culture and Archaeology, Government of Tamil Nadu  in the presence of eminent business and HR leaders and    Shri Somesh Das Gupta, National President, NIPM and the awards were received by  Dr. S.K Acharya and Shri R. Vikraman respectively.
 
NATCON- 2017 is an NIPM Annual Conference and a grand HR event organized by NIPM-Madras Chapter during 15-16, September 2017 at Chennai with the Theme 'HR Positioning in Current Disruptive Business Environment'. The conference was inaugurated by Shri K.Pandiarajan, Hon’ble Minister for Tamil Official Language, Tamil Culture and Archaeology, Government of Tamil Nadu.
 
During the inaugural of NATCON 2017, Dr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, CMD, NLCIL and also the  Chairman of the conference in his address stated that, to leverage opportunities successfully in business atmosphere, Human Resource professionals need to tune themselves to cope up with new change options according to disruptions taking place in technology, economics and policies of the country and the new business models developed by them.To adapt these changes, organizations need to have different mindset , skill set and abilities to enable organizational excellence.  
The annual National Conference is the greatest learning event in the country attended by eminent business and HR leaders from India and other Asian countries. 
 
The HR Excellence Award of the Institute, to be the most valued Award, is set up to track and recognize the HR professionals who make a significant difference. All endeavors of the Institute are aimed at continuously defining and redefining the benchmarks of Professional Excellence for People and People Processes and supporting the professionals and organizations achieving them.
The conference attended by an elite group of HR heads, senior managers and business leaders from several business sectors from India  and abroad.
