NRL organized 6 skill development programmes
New Delhi: NRL, under its ‘Uttaran’ initiative, organized 6 skill development programmes covering 120 trainees to train local youths in the North East on various Wax-based products in 2016-17. The company, to conduct such workshops, has entered into collaboration with the Industries and Commerce Departments of State governments of the North East including Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur and Assam. This venture supported local unemployed youth to set up candle making units that are now operational.
