NSPCL pays Dividend of Rs 120 crore for FY 2015-16
NEW DELHI . SHri Manash Sarkar, CEO, NSPCL along with S. V. Shahi, CFO, NSPCL presented the final dividend cheque today to Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC. A. K. Jha, Dir (Technical), S. C. Pandey, Dir (Proj), Saptarshi Roy, ED (CP& CC) and K. K. Sharma, Dir (O) & Chairman NSPCL were also present on th
occasion.
NSPCL recorded a total income of Rs.2299.87 crore for Financial Year 2015-16 with profit before tax (PBT) of Rs.262.06 crore and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 246.84 crore.
NTPC-SAIL Power Company Pvt Ltd (NSPCL),is joint venture of the NTPC Limited and Steel Authority of
India Limited paid a total dividend of Rs. 120.00 crores which included interim dividend of Rs.100 crore and Final dividend of Rs. 20 crore which works out to 12.24% of paid up equity capital share capital. The Dividend and Dividend distribution tax amounts to 58.50% of Profit After Tax of Company achieved for financial year 2015-16.
