NTPC Dadri awarded best plant in many categories
NOIDA: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Dadri was awarded seven Swarn Shakti Awards and a Champions Trophy for excellence. The awards for excellence were given in various areas and services of the power plant's operation during the financial year 2015-16.
These awards include (1) Best performance in the area of productivity (coal station), gas station, best performance in the area of efficiency (coal station), best performance in the area of HR practices, protection and improvement of environment (coal), second best performance in the area of safety (gas station) and second best performance in the area of Rajbhasha (use of national language). C Dadri awarded best plant in many categories.
Along with the above awards NTPC Dadri was awarded a Champions Trophy for their overall functioning. The Swarn Shakti Awards and Champions Trophy was presented by Gurdeep Singh, CMD NTPC Limited to D K Sood, ED (CSR/R and R) and RED (DBF) at NTPC Raising Day Function held recently at New Delhi. "We have always endeavoured towards quality performance and are very happy on getting this award," said Debashish Sarkar, group general manager Dadri.
Others present on the occasion include A K Jha, director (Tech.), S C Pandey, director (Projects), K Biswal, director (Finance), K K Sharma, director (Operations) and S Roy, director (HR). Times of India
