NTPC Electron Quiz 2017

New Delhi: NTPC Electron Quiz has been a popular event among the leading business management and engineering institutes in the country. One of the oldest and premier educational institutions in the country, Osmania University is celebrating its  centenary and during this milestone year,  NTPC, a “Maharatna”  and the largest power utility in the country has come forward to  collaborate with the Osmania University   to organize  Southern Regional Round of  NTPC Electron Quiz-2017  at  Tagore Auditorium,  Osmania University,  Hyderabad at 2.30 p.m  on 5th August 2017  .

 

The Southern Region event is open to students from Engineering colleges and Business management schools and professional institutes across South India. Each college/institute can sponsor two teams for the Regional level event. Each team shall consist of two members only. The subject areas are broadly from the world of corporate business,  news events, general knowledge, films and entertainment,  sports etc. Based on the performance in the qualifying rounds and elimination rounds six teams shall take part in the Regional level final competition on the same day.

 

The Winners of the Southern Region Round will get prizes worth Rs 30,000/- per team, for the  1st  Runner up team prizes worth  Rs 20,000/- per team and 2nd Runner will get prizes worth  Rs 10000/- per team.  The 4th, 5th and 6th  will receive consolation prizes worth Rs 4000/- each per team. In addition, special prizes and mementoes or souvenirs will be given to audience for the audience round.

 

Top three winners from the Regional Round will be selected for National level competition to be held on  17th August 2017  at New Delhi. Travelling expenses and boarding and lodging for the participating teams in the National Level Final would be organised by NTPC.
