NTPC corporate communication meet held at SIPAT
BILASPUR. The two-day, 30th Corporate Communication Meet commenced today with NTPC CC participants converging at Sipat from across the country. The meet was inaugurated by Shri A.N. Verma, ED (HR); Shri Padmakumar Rajsekharan, BUH, Sipat; Shri A.K. Tripathi, CGM, Korba; Shri M.S. Ramesh, GM (HR) WRII; Shri R.S. Kaul, Ho HR, Sipat; Shri KM Prashanth, HOD(CC) and faculty members Shri Paranjoy Guha Thakurta, Eminent Journalist and Shri Suresh Vaidyanathan, Head Corporate Affairs, Alibaba Group.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri A.N Verma emphasised the importance that NTPC has given to Corporate Communication function since the company inception. He also highlighted the need for building a constructive narrative while containing negative news by Corporate Communication experts. He added that all queries of internal and external stakeholders need to be answered without delay as part of NTPC Corporate Communication strategy. Shri KM Prashanth, HOD gave an overview of the program and the eminent faculties associated with it. He also thanked various Departments of NTPC Sipat who have made excellent arrangements to host the Meet. The inaugural session ended with presentation of Corporate Communication Awards.
