NTPC organised a free eye camp
New Delhi: Cataract is main cause for blindness affecting 9 million people in India. NTPC CSR initiative of Free Eye Camps Kahalgaon aims at reducing these numbers and has treated more than 1000 people with cataract in last 5 years.
Free Eye Camp is being organised at NTPC Kahalgaon under its CSR Initiative from 11-15 December 2019.Large number of male and female patients lined up for medical check up on 11.12.2019 which ascertains whether operation for cataract is needed or not.
Total 776 Patients were examined out of which 373 were found to be in need of cataract operation which included 195 female.NTPC Kahalgaon also provides free medicine, blanket, Spectacles and arrangement of free food and stay during their stay at our hospital.
