NTPC to commission stage I of Barh plant
PATNA: Bihar is likely to be a surplus state in terms of power availability as National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has targeted to commission unit-I of stage-I of Barh Super Thermal Power Station (BSTPS) by the end of this year.
K S Garbyal, regional executive director (east-I) of NTPC said on Friday the unit-I of the much-delayed stage-I of BSTPS would be commissioned by the end of second quarter of upcoming fiscal (2017-18), in which Bihar would have an allocation of 1025MW. Times of India
