Odisha govt asks MCL to full up two closed underground mines
BHUBANESHWAR. Odisha Chief Secretary A P Padhi directed the MCL to fill up the two closed underground mines at Deulbeda and Handhidhua with sand within three years. The Chief Secretary gave the direction while reviewing the sand filling and reclamation works of Mahanadi coalfield Limited in its mines in the districts of Angul and Jharsuguda through a video conferencing. However, MCL authorities assured the government to complete the sand fillingwithin five years time.
