Oil India Limited observesSaksham 2017

New Delhi. Oil India Limited (OIL), culminated the observance of the month long Oil and Gas Conservation Mass Awareness Campaign, ‘Saksham-2017’, under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, with a concluding functionheld on 15th February 2017 at its Corporate Office in Noida. 
 
The function was presided over by the OILCMD , Shri Utpal Bora, with Shri Hirak Dutta, former Executive Director-Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) being the guest speaker for the event. 
 
As part of the month long campaign, ‘Saksham -2017’, OIL conducted walkathons for mass awareness, free pollution check- up camps for vehicles, free LPG stove servicing camps, quiz competitions, etc. Moreover, a large number of students took part in essay and slogan writing competitions organized by OIL at the Khaitan School, Noida. The winning students from the school across different categories of competitions were awarded by Oil India Limited at the concluding function.
