PFC Provides crucial loan of Rs.4,905 crore to BSES
NEW DELHI . The Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has sanctioned a loan of Rs.4,905 crore to BSES discoms, which is in the midst of a serious cash crunch.
BSES discoms had sought a long-term financial solution through the PFC, which had proposed a financial package of Rs.11,006 crore last year.
The BSES has been regularly following up with the Delhi government for a ‘Letter of Comfort’, as required by the PFC, so as to signify that the BSES is a joint venture of the Delhi government performing a public utility service.
