POWERGRIDs new Data Centre for Telecom inaugurated
NEW DELHI .March 25 , 2016
Shri Ravi. P. Singh Director (Personnel), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(POWERGRID), inaugurated the newly constructed Data Centre of Northern Region Telecom Control Centre (NRTCC) situated at 400/220 KV GIS, Maharani Bagh.
NRTCC is the nerve centre of all Telecom activities of POWERGRID in the Northern Region and its jurisdiction comprises of J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi/NCR. The new Building is a state of art design and boasts of latest building management systems in modern day Data Centre Architecture.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi. P. Singh Director (Personnel) applauded Telecom for its superlative business performance in the current fiscal and exhorted telecom employees to surpass the revenue targets set by themselves.
