Powergrid organises inter-collegiate debate competition
JAMMU. As part of its Vigilance awareness week celebrations, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Northern Region-II, Jammu organized an inter-collegiate debate competition at College, here yesterday
.The topic of the competition was “Is corruption free India Possible” . Nine renowned colleges across the Jammu province participated in the debate competition. The debate competition saw all the speakers speak their heart out whether it was for or against the Motion.
The program started by the welcome of S K Sharma Executive Director Powergrid NR-II, followed by lighting of the lamp. Prof Sangeeta Sudan ,Head of Department Chemistry MAM college welcomed the chief
guest and other dignatries present on this occasion.
Principal of the College Dr Anita Sudan in her address thanked Powergrid for choosing the college as venue for the competition. She urged upon the children to live a life of integrity and truthfulness.
In his address S K Sharma, Executive Director, Powergrid appreciated the performance of all the participants. He congratulated the participants for expressing their opinions candidly and advised them to be the change makers themselves. Daily excelsior
