Prime Minister of india Dedicates 1732 MW to nation in Himachal
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated three hydro-electric projects (HEPs) with a generating capacity of 1,732 MW in Himachal Pradesh. Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi appreciated the contribution of Public Sector and said these hydro projects will bring prosperity to the State of Himachal and other parts of the country .
The NTPC operated 800 MW Hydro Power Station in Koldam, 520 MW Parvati Project and SJVNL operated 412 MW Hydro Station in Rampur, are all equipped with equipment supplied and commissioned by BHEL.

Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD , NTPC shared the salient features and highlights of the Koldam Project through the model displayed at the venue to the Prime Minister. Shri S.C Pandey, Director ( Projects), Shri K.K.Sharma Director (Operations) and Shri K.K.Singh, RED( Hydro Region)were present.
