REIL POSTED PROFIT OF RS. 17.37 CRORE
Jaipur: Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited a “MINI RATNA” Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Government of India, declared 48% Dividend to its Share Holders for the year 2016-17, in its 35th Annual General Meeting held on 27th September, 2017. The dividend declared is highest ever dividend to shareholders.
On this occasion MD REIL, Shri A.K. Jain presented statistics for the year 2016-17 which emphasized that the net worth of the Company has increased by 7% from Rs. 103.83 Crore to Rs. 110.72 Crore and the Company has earned a Profit Before Tax of Rs. 17.37 Crore on a turnover of Rs. 233.03 Crore.
Ms. Mugdha Sinha, Chairman, REIL stated that Company is maintaining profitability with innovative solutions, harmonious industrial relations and the continuous support of valued customers. Company will scale greater heights in the days to come. She expressed her sincere appreciation and thanks to the Employees, Business Associates, Valued Customers and Share Holders.
On this occasion, Shri Jain apprised that, in line with commitment of “Make in India” Company has enhanced manufacturing base by installation of Automatic Stringer machine with a capacity of processing 700 cells per hour to make solar string(s), which facilitates in producing low wattage solar modules. Under Skilling India initiative, the Company is in process of construction of Green building by investment of Rs. 15 Crore, to be used as skill development centre in the field of Information Technology, Electronics & Renewable Energy, IT enabled services, Research & Development Center and Corporate Marketing.
