REIL gets IEI Industry Excellence Award

Chennai: The Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) has been honoured with “IEI Industry Excellence Award 2017” in manufacturing and processing category. The award was presented to REIL by Minister of Industries, Government of Tamilnadu Shri M.C. Sampath in Chennai. The prestigious National Award has been instituted by Institution of Engineers (India)  for recognizing excellence in Manufacturing/ Operations of Indian Engineering Industries. 

 

REIL is a Mini Ratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprise, Government of India, with a track record of professional management and profitable operations over the past 31 years. The Company is engaged in taking Electronics, Information Technology & Renewable Energy to the villages of our country.

 

On this occasion, the Managing Director, Shri A.K. Jain reiterated the commitment of the Company for “Shaping Rural India through Electronics, Renewable Energy and 

IT Solutions”. The Company puts emphasis on innovation and recognizes the same as a key to the growth of the Organization and welfare of the society at large. The Company launched over 15 products like Data Processor Unit, Electronic Milk Adulteration Tester, Auto Electronic Milk Tester, Solar Auto Tracker etc. He also added that the Company is geared up to take up new challenges in the field of Information Technology, SPV and Dairy Technology.  Innovations in Company’s in-house R&D, have helped the organization in vertical integration by significant contribution in manufacturing activities.

 

Shri A.K. Jain, Managing Director, REIL, thanked the Organizers and the Jury, for the award. He also acknowledged the support and guidance of Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Department of Heavy Industry, Government of India and Government of Rajasthan. 

 

Shri Jain congratulated the employees of REIL for the award and assured that the Company would continue to deliver newer and innovative Electronics, Renewable Energy and Information Technology based solutions and services for the social & economic development of rural brethren.
