RINL CMD Inaugurates Seminar on Global Trends in NR-HR Coke Making Technologies

Vishakhapatnam: Shri P.K. Rath, CMD, RINL-VSP inaugurated a two-day national seminar on 'Global Trends in NR-HR Coke Making Technologies' in Ukkunagaram. The seminar is being jointly organized by RINL-VSP & IIM, Visakhapatnam Chapter.

While delivering his inaugural address, Shri Rath observed that as per National Steel Policy 2017, India has a target to produce 300 mt of Crude Steel by 2030 and to achieve this target 30 mt of coke making facilities are required in addition to the existing, envisaged facilities and coke import.
