RINL-VSP Celebrates Steel Safety Day
Vishakhapatnam: Shri P K Rath, CMD, RINL observed that Steel industry is very complex and hazardous Industry and hence, called upon every individual in the organization to follow safe behaviour.
Shri J Siva Shankar Reddy, Joint Chief Inspector of Factories, Visakhapatnam, AP Government applauded the efforts of RINL in conducting the Safety Promotional activities on a regular basis. He stressed upon the need for safety to be followed not only at the work spot but also in every walk of human life. Further, he stressed the importance on driving the vehicles at safer speeds.
Shri J Rajendran, DGM (Safety) gave the presentation on various safety promotional measures conducted in connection with Steel Safety Day-2019.
On this occasion of Steel Safety Day-2019 Valedictory function, Safety Stall was organised with the help of NDRF and other agencies. The function was attended by a large number of employees organised at TTI Auditorium.
'Steel Safety Day' observed in Projects Division of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant
Various competition were held for the VSP employees and the employees of contractual agencies of Project Division. Recognition for Safe Performing agencies was also assessed through Safety Audit and the prize-winning agencies were given mementoes.
To mark the occasion, a function was conducted today at Project Office complex during which Safety pledge was taken and flag hoisting was done by Shri R. Nagarajan, ED(Projects)I/c. ED(Modernisation) and all other GMs, Zonal Incharges, members from the Project Works committee, employees of VSP and contractual agencies were present during the function.
