Sanjiv Singh Director Refineries IndianOil flags off SAKSHAM 2017
New Delhi. "Reducing import dependency of oil & gas is a primary challenge for the Indian energy sector, thus improving energy efficiency and conservation of petroleum products by every individual user is very important," said Shri Sanjiv Singh, Director (Refineries), IndianOil, while flagging-off the month-long oil & gas conservation mass awareness campaign (Sanrakshan Kshamata Mahotsav-SAKSHAM-2017) at Refineries Headquarters in New Delhi.
To mark the occasion, Mr Singh unveiled a special poster created with an evocative message for the masses on conservation of energy. He also administered the SAKSHAM-2017 pledge, and reiterated the commitment of IOCians to conserve petroleum products.
"By adopting simple innovative practices for energy conservation in our daily lives, the individual energy footprints can be reduced to a great extent, helping the cause of conservation," Mr. Sanjiv Singh added. He also urged IOCians to inculcate energy conservation as a habit among the children -- the torchbearers of the future.
