Shri Chaudhary Birender Singh reviews MECON performance
RANCHI. Union Minister of Steel, Shri Chaudhary Birender Singh visited MECON Office. He was accompanied by Shri P.K.Singh Chairman SAIL, Shri Sunil Barthwal, IAS Joint Secretary MoS, Ms. Prerna Puri, IAS PS to HSM, and Shri Dhiraj Kumar APS to HSM. Hon’ble Minister and total team was received by Shri A.K. Tyagi CMD MECON, Shri S. Chattopadhyay Director(Project), MECON, Shri Deepak Dutta Director (Commercial) MECON, Shri S.R. Sengupta Director (Technology), MECON, Shri A.P. Singh Director (Engineering) MECON, Shri P.K. Sarangi (Executive Director), MECON, Ms.Supriya Jaiswal CVO MECON along with other senior officials of MECON and SAIL.
On the maiden MECON visit he expressed the impressive engineering work which MECON is undertaking. He emphasized that MECON is rightly the THINK TANK of the steel industry.
Shri P.K. Singh Chairman, SAIL expressed that MECON is always a part of SAIL and is doing good job in the Steel industry. Shri A.K. Tyagi CMD MECON welcomed Shri Chaudhary Birender Singh Minister , his wife Mrs. Premlata, Chairman SAIL and other dignitaries in MECON. The Directors of MECON also spoke on this occasion. A power point presentation covering multifarious activities of MECON was presented by Shri S.R. Sengupta Director (Technology) MECON.
