Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi Assumes Charge as GM Amlohri Coal Area of NCL

Singrauli: Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi assumed the charge of General Manager of Amlohri Coal Area of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) Sunday on 30th December 2018. Prior to this, Shri Dwivedi was the General Manager of Korba Coal area of Coal India subsidiary South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL). He has taken charge from Shri S.K. Gomasta, who has has been made the General Manager of the Nigahi Coal Area and also assumed charge on Sunday.

 

Shri Dwivedi, who has 32 years of vast experience in opencast and underground coal mining, started his carrier in Coal India in the year 1986 as a mining engineer after doing graduation in mining engineering from IIT-BHU Varanasi. He has served for 28 years in SECL and another 4 years in ECL.

 

Shri Dwivedi has undergone many training programmes in India and abroad including China, France, and South Africa and has been conferred with 'Best Engineer Award' by the Institution of Engineers along with other prestigious accolades for his outstanding work in the field of mining.
