Swachh Bharat Oath Ceremony at MDL

Mumbai: RAdm Anil Saxena, Director (Shipbuilding), Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, administered the Swachh Bharat Shapath to all employees as part of the 15 day 'Swachh Bharat Pakhwada' celebrations. In line with the Government of India, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise's directives Swachh Bharat Pakhwada is being organized in various defence establishments in the country.

The Pakhwada that commenced today at Mazagon Dock with the Oath taking ceremony was followed by a March-Past in the Yard wherein four contingents from various divisions displayed posters and banners and spread awareness about cleanliness among the employees. 

Various activities have been chalked-out for the 15-day drive which includes cleanliness drive in and around MDL, disposing of scrap in an organized manner, educating employees on segregation of organic and recyclable waste, tree plantation drive, painting & essay writing competition, organizing seminar etc. Swachh Bharat Pakhwada will conclude on 31st Aug 2018 with prize distribution ceremony.
