TPREL inks pact with SECI for 100 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi: Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company, today announced through its subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a 100 Megawatt (MW) solar park in Andhra Pradesh with the solar corporation of India (SECI).
 
The commercial date of operation of the project as per the PPA is 16th October 2017, according to a TPREL statement. 
 
"The solar project at Anantapuram solar park will add 100 MW of clean energy to our portfolio and is in line with the Government`s set target of 100 Gigawatt (GW) from solar by 2017," said Rahul Shah, CEO and Executive Director, TPREL.
