US Magazine Lauds NTPC
KARIMANGAR: Power, a US based magazine that updates readers about the latest developments in power generation has lauded the efforts of Ramagundum Super Thermal Power station for employing state-of-the-art technology to address the power needs of the country. The power plant in Karimnagar is among the six coal fired general category power plants selected by the magazine for its awards in the October issue.
“For nearly four decades, this plant has been an essential power provider. Even as the plant ages, it has been setting new performance records, the magazine said.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion on Saturday, NTPC Ramagundam, executive director P K Mohapatra said the award is a recognition for the plant’s efforts to adopt modern technology.
