NEW FACES IN PSUS
United Bank Of India and Bank Of Maharashtra Get New Chiefs
New Delhi. Shri Pawan Kumar Bajaj and Shri Ravindra Prabhakar Marathe were on Tuesday appointed as managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of United Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra respectively.
Mr Bajaj is executive director in Indian Overseas Bank. He has been appointed as MD and CEO "based on merit-cum-preference", an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said.
Mr Bajaj has been appointed to the post up to September 20, 2018, the date of his attaining the age of superannuation, it said.
Mr Marathe is executive director in Bank of India. He will take over the charge on or after October 1, 2016 and continue for a period up to November 30, 2019, the date of his retirement, the order said. NDTV
