Vigilance Awareness Week begins at RINL-VSP
Visakhapatnam: RINL is observing the Vigilance Awareness Week with a view to creating awareness among the employees to prevent corruption and to enhance Corporate Governance in a transparent manner. The theme selected for this year by CVC is 'Eradicate corruption - Building a New India'.
Shri PK Rath, CMD, RINL-VSP led the Board of Directors of RINL in administering the Integrity Pledge on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week today.
Shri Saraswati Prasad, IAS, Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Steel, Shri P Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial), Shri KC Das, Director (Personnel), Shri VV Venugopal Rao, Director (Finance), Shri SK Srivastava, IAS (retd), Shri SK Mishra, IRS (Retd), Shri Sunil Gupta, Shri KM Padmanabhan, Shri Ashwini Mehra, Independent Directors of RINL were present on the occasion.
Shri P J Vijayakar, IFS, CVO, RINL, senior officers and HODs of various departments across the organization also administered the Integrity Pledge to mark the occasion.
To sensitize citizens on the ill-effects of corruption ‘Awareness Gram Sabha' is planned at Gorlivanipalem village on 30th October. To inculcate moral and ethical values amongst the younger generation, concepts of Integrity Club was explained at all schools of Ukkunagaram on 29th Oct 2018. Elocution competition for the employees in three languages will be organized on 30th of Oct. All prize winners of various events will be felicitated at the valedictory function on 2nd November 2018.
