WIPS MCLs Introductory Class on Organic Farming
Sambalpur: A one-hour program was organized on the topic 'Organic Farming' by WIPS members of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Jagriti Vihar headquarters, in which Shri Mukund Sahu with us as a faculty member, Teacher of 'Art of Living' Founded by Shri Ravi Shankar, Bengaluru were present. In addition to this program, his colleague and wife Mrs. Lana Sahu was also present, who teaches children related to Yoga and other Art of Living. In the program, women of Anand Vihar and Jagriti Vihar Colony and women employees of Headquarters took part in the program. The faculty members briefly discussed the benefits of 'Organic Farming' and told them that the tradition of traditional farming we have is the inspiration for us, for which we have to use any chemical pesticide in agriculture do not require. Therefore, the only way to prevent pollution and fatal disease is to cultivate naturally, and this does not require any major space, but it can be easily done at small places without any cost.
According to the faculty member, women have a serious role in this area as in all other areas, by using such kind of experiment, they can keep themselves and their families safe and can also contribute to the development of the country.
Many questions were asked by the faculty members, who were also resolved in a very good way by the women present in the program. In the program, Mrs. Kirti Tiwari, President Apex (WIPS), Mrs. Kollam Javed, Coordinator WIPS, Mrs. Padma, Secretary, WIPS were also present. The program was conducted by Ms. Munmun Agarwal, Member WIPS and thanking all the members and faculty members, the program was announced.
