ALIMCO helping hands with Red Cross society
Jalandhar: About 100 physically challenged residents of District Red Cross Society from weaker sections of the district will soon get artificial limbs, with the quality of their life set to improve for the better.
Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, Varinder Kumar Sharma, said today that the District Red Cross Society in cooperation with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India had organised a two-day special assessment camp at the local Red Cross Bhawan that concluded today.
