Bank of Baroda celebrates Annual Official Language 2016
MUMBAI. Bank of Baroda organised Annual Official Language Celebration of Bank in Mumbai recently, where in “Sayajirao Bhasha Samman” presented to famous Actor and Literacy Author Shri Ashutosh Rana.Shri P S Jayakumar, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank preside over the programme and Executive Directors Shri B B Joshi, Shri Mayank K Mehta and Shri Ashok Kumar Garg were also present on the occasion.
A Book published by the Bank on “Rural Marketing & Banking Business” was also released on the occasion. Apart from this, the new editions of Bank’s Hindi magazines “Akshayyam” and “Mumbai Bhaskar” were also released. While addressing the function, Shri P S Jayakumar, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank made special mention about the achievements of the Bank in Official Language Implementation.
Shri Ashutosh Rana addressed the gathering in a very attractive and effective manner to spell bound the audience. On the occasion, Hindi version of Bank’s mobile banking transaction app ‘M-clip’ was also launched.Under Bank’s Medhavi Vidhyarthi Samman Yojana, the students of SNDT, Women University, Mumbai, were also felicitated in the programme with certificates and cheques. The winners of Hindi competitions organized during Hindi Divas were also felicitated in the programme. A Kavi Sammelan was also organised at the end of the programme.At the outset, General Manager Shri Navin Chandra Upreti welcomed the distinguished guests & gathering.
