BEML bags Rs. 570 Cr order from DMRC

BANGLORE.  BEML LIMITED has bagged a prestigious Order of  Rs.570 Crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for the supply of 70 Cars which are in addition to 92 Cars being manufactured for Delhi Metro.

 

BEML has forayed into the manufacture and supply of hi-tech Metro Cars during 2002.   BEML has so far supplied more than 700 Metro Cars to Delhi Metro, Bangalore Metro and Jaipur Metro.  With the above Order, the Order Book position of the Company, representing all the three business verticals viz., Mining & Construction, Rail & Metro and Defence Business, has crossed Rs.6400 Crore mark.
